Off-Site Weddings

We have two wonderful ministers that are available, if you need a minister and already have your ceremony site. Click to learn more about our Pastoral Care Minister and Senior Minister.

On-Site Weddings

Our Event and Wedding Coordinators will work with you to create a lovely wedding with the "personal touch." For your unique wedding, we offer our beautiful church facilities: Sanctuary, Peace Chapel, and Meditation Garden.

The Sanctuary, with seating up to 500, has a spacious center aisle with skylights lighting your path to the altar. This room contains a Steinway Grand Piano, an organ, and sound room capabilities. The Bride's Room is adjacent to the Sanctuary.

The Peace Chapel seats up to 80, and contains a piano and sound system. This room provides a more intimate environment than the Sanctuary. It is a perfect choice for the smaller wedding.

The Meditation Garden, offers a lovely outdoor setting for a small intimate wedding (up to 15).

Deposits

For weddings at the church a deposit of $150

($50 nonrefundable in the event of cancellation) is due when initial arrangements are made with the Event Coordinator .

The deposit holds your wedding date on the church master calendar and on the minister's schedule. Balance of wedding fees are due 30 days prior to the wedding. Checks are payable to Christ Unity Church . A thirty-day (30) cancellation notice is required in order to receive a deposit/fee refund (except the $50 nonrefundable portion of the deposit).

All weddings at the church require a rehearsal with our Wedding Coordinator, unless waived by the Event Coordinator. Rehearsals are usually scheduled the Friday prior to the wedding at 6:00 pm.

Media Services

Videotaping is allowed, but not currently available from the church. Audio tapes recording a wedding ceremony in the Sanctuary are available for $15 if Sound Room Staff is included in the price package.

Christ Unity Church has a contact information roster for talented musicians and vocalists with differing styles. Speak with the Event Coordinator to find the performers that are right for you.

Informal Weddings

This type of wedding has fewer than 10 guests, and is performed during regular church office hours (Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, except holidays). The bride and groom must provide their own music. An informal wedding requesting an organist must also use our Wedding Coordinator.

Counseling

Prenuptial counseling sessions are included in the minister fee, and are required.

Receptions

For sit down dining, with food service on two buffet tables, Fellowship Hall can seat up to 128 people with 8 people seated at each rectangular shaped table. Maximum Capacity for the Fellowship Hall is 200 people. The lobby with its tiled floor and ceiling-to-floor mirrors, is a great place for dancing.

The church will complete the set-up of candelabras, tables, chairs and other church equipment. A Room Set-Up Request Form must be completed and returned, two weeks before the wedding. Silk flower petals are allowed inside the church, and real flower are not. Bubbles may be used outside, while tossing rice is not allowed on the premises. Use of our beautiful candelabras requires a fee of $25.
